If you love good wine, relaxed company and a touch of Italian flair, we have the perfect evening planned for you this winter.
On Friday 20th February 2026, the Griffin Inn will be hosting a special Italian-themed wine tasting evening, in partnership with Tanners Wines. Starting at 7pm, this is a chance to slow down, sip, savour and enjoy a carefully curated selection of Italian wines in the cosy surroundings of our village inn.
What to expect
Guests will be guided through a range of Italian wines, each chosen to showcase the diversity and character of Italy’s famous wine regions. Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or simply enjoy discovering new favourites, this is a welcoming, informal tasting designed to be enjoyed by all.
Alongside the wines, we’ll be serving Italian-inspired nibbles, perfectly matched to complement each glass. Expect great flavours, relaxed conversation and a warm, friendly atmosphere — just the way evenings at the Griffin should be.
